What is mediation?

Mediation is a conversation, not a court hearing, and it does not have to be intimidating. One of our primary goals is to remove the fear factor and help participants feel comfortable and confident in the process.

Mediation brings together individuals who have a disagreement in a safe, structured, and respectful environment. With the guidance of a neutral third party—the mediator—the parties discuss the issues that need to be resolved. The process is voluntary and confidential, encouraging open dialogue and cooperation. In many cases, mediation leads to positive solutions and a better understanding between everyone involved.

Unlike litigation, where a judge makes the final decision, mediation allows the parties themselves to shape and determine the outcome. Because both sides actively participate in creating the resolution, mediation often results in more constructive and mutually satisfying results.

Structured, neutral sessions focused on respectful communication and workable agreements.
